STRUCTURAL SHINGLE OUTDOOR CLASSROOM (THE PINE CONE PAVILION)

This outdoor classroom pavilion is designed to be constructed of structural CLT. As a pavilion meant for educational programming, the project takes inspiration from the pinecone not only in its form but also metaphorically as a symbol of regeneration and the protector and nurturer of seeds.
