CURRENCY GALLERY

Inspired by the geometry of molds for gold ingots, the historical standardof currency, the design for this currency gallery features a field of bills andcoins organized by a modular grid as a backdrop for larger displaypanelsthat feature object groupings by theme. Designed to accommodaterotating displays of varying sizes, the flexible design allows for as many oras few display panels, depending on the rotation. All casework wasconservation grade with an LED lightingsystem and passiveenvironmental system to meet collection conservation requirements. Wedesigned the gallery, casework, exhibition design, graphic design, andlighting.
